OK, that just proves I need a break! I just typed, "Stitch & Birth".
This weekend a friend is hosting a sewing marathon. We usually make garb for all the faires and festivals we attend. I've made pleated kilts for Mike & Drew and highland girl garb for Katie (clickie to see some pictures). So tomorrow is another such weekend and I can't wait. I have a skirt to finish, 2 chemises to finish, and potentially a new kilt for Andrew to cut, pleat, and sew. The last time I went to Beth's to sew I brought Katie along, since she has a good time with my friends, likes "dress up", and always gets new garb out of the deal. This time however, since it's summer break and I've had both kids at home for weeks, I'm thinking of flying solo. She'll be disappointed, but I think I really need a little break from the kiddos.

Sewing, sewing, sewing!

"Stitch & Birth"

Well, my mother always said that making a quilt took as long as being pregnant!
